Naya ID is a digital identity verification and compliance platform (KYC, face biometrics, AML screening), developed and operated by:

Naya ID lets institutions (banks, microfinance, fintechs, telecom operators, government bodies, businesses) verify the identity of their customers and users, and lets the persons concerned complete a simple, secure verification flow.
By accessing Naya ID, creating an account or completing a verification flow, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms without reservation. Acceptance is requested on your first visit to the site, through a dedicated notice.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the site and the platform.
These Terms apply to all users of Naya ID, in particular:
- Client institutions: any legal entity that has subscribed to Naya ID’s verification services under a service agreement;
- End users: any natural person whose identity is verified through Naya ID at the request of a client institution;
- Team members: staff authorised by a client institution (compliance officers, reviewers, developers, etc.);
- Visitors: anyone browsing www.nayaid.com.
Account creation — Opening an institution account requires accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and the conclusion of a service agreement. Each user is responsible for keeping their credentials and API keys confidential.
Institution verification (KYB) — Before accessing the services, every client institution must go through a verification and due-diligence process. This process may include:
- Providing legal registration documents and identifying authorised representatives;
- Verifying a professional phone number and email address;
- Any other document or supporting evidence deemed necessary by Naya ID (licences, sector authorisations).
Naya ID reserves the right to refuse or suspend an institution account if verification is inconclusive.
Client institutions — The institution is solely responsible for: the lawfulness of the verifications it requests and for informing its customers; the configuration of its decision rules and the use it makes of the results provided; compliance with the regulations applicable to its business (KYC, AML/CFT, data protection); the management of its team and the access it grants.
End users — The end user agrees to: present authentic documents belonging to them; not impersonate a third party or tamper with the captured images or data; provide accurate information throughout the flow.
Team members — Team members authorised by an institution act under that institution’s exclusive responsibility. Their access is limited to the features the institution has assigned to them.
Browsing www.nayaid.com is free of charge. Use of the verification services is governed by a service agreement concluded with each client institution, setting out the applicable pricing (per use or flat fee), invoicing and payment terms.
Prices may be updated; any change is communicated to client institutions with reasonable notice, as provided in the agreement.
It is strictly prohibited to use Naya ID to:
- Verify a person’s identity without a legal basis or without their knowledge, outside the framework of the service agreement;
- Submit forged or stolen documents, documents belonging to a third party, or attempt to defeat the biometric checks;
- Conduct activities that are unlawful under the laws of the covered countries, in particular Benin, Togo, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform’s systems, disrupt their operation or bypass their security measures;
- Reuse the data or results provided for discriminatory purposes or in breach of individuals’ rights.
The Naya ID trademark, logo, design, features and source code are the exclusive property of GROUPE 41DEVS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without GROUPE 41DEVS’s prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Client institutions grant Naya ID a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display their trademarks and logos as part of the service (branded verification flows, portal), for the duration of the agreement.
Naya ID provides verification results as decision support. Accordingly:
- The final decision to enter into a relationship with a customer belongs exclusively to the client institution;
- Naya ID is not responsible for the use the institution makes of the results provided, nor for decisions taken on their basis;
- Naya ID cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue or consequential harm arising from use of the platform;
- Naya ID’s liability is in any event limited to the amounts actually received under the relevant agreement, as provided therein.
Naya ID reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in the event of:
- Breach of these Terms or of the service agreement;
- False information provided during registration or the verification (KYB) process;
- Fraudulent or abusive behaviour;
- Persistent payment default.
Users may also request the closure of their account at any time by writing to legal@41devs.com, without prejudice to ongoing contractual obligations.
Naya ID strives to keep the platform available, in line with the contractually agreed service levels. Interruptions for maintenance, updates or causes beyond Naya ID’s control (force majeure, infrastructure failures) may nonetheless occur.
Naya ID reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users are informed of any significant change by email or by a notice on the site. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Benin.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall first be submitted to an attempt at amicable resolution. Failing that, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Cotonou, Benin.
For users residing in the other covered countries, Naya ID also complies with the applicable local consumer-protection and data-protection regulations.
